This morning I had the pleasure and honor of visiting soldiers at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. This upcoming  summer is extremely special because it is the 100th Anniversary of the base.

I’ve visited the base several times this year and of course in years past and I’m always amazed by the men and women who serve and protect this country. Selfridge is a very important base not only for Michigan but for the United States when it comes to national security.

I look forward in partaking in the many festivities as we celebrate and honor Selfriedge Air National Guard Base this summer.
